Pure and simple

Nothing mysterious. Nothing revolutionary or even revelationary. And nothing to set the world on fire.

That’s because our vision is super simple...to craft exquisitely beautiful creations from natural and sustainable raw materials, for the pleasure of those who appreciate the sheer joy and experience of form enriching function.

Of course, even the simplest of visions needs a framework to work within before it becomes reality. So here are just some of the goals we set ourselves every day...

We love creating ‘firsts’. After all, while imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, our clients want to stand apart from their competition. Being original, different, distinctive and unique is the key.

We like to think our pride shines through in everything we do...because when it does, our clients can see they’re acquiring something that has as much passion invested in its creation as they have invested in their business.

Golden rule...sustainability is everything. We always work with sustainable woods and with materials in plentiful, responsible supply. And plastic is an absolute ‘No’. We support like-minded charities. And we strive to work in a sustainable way too, travelling the world and shipping our products in ways that leave the smallest footprint practically possible.

In an era of mass production, it’s a privilege to be part of the growing movement for ‘less is more’ and, with it, the return to quality and craftsmanship being once again in vogue. That’s why we only employ and collaborate with vastly experienced UK-based craftspeople, why we’re developing apprenticeships, and why we only partner with like-minded suppliers.

We don’t just make use of nature, we work alongside it. That means we don’t simply rely on harvesting responsibly sourced materials, we work with nature’s legacy too...like storm-felled trees given new life through the art they allow us to create.

In the melting pot of our ever-shrinking digital world, ‘fusion’ is the norm. But while this offers us the chance to grow closer together, it can also mean losing sight of our cultural heritages. Happily, by creating individual, bespoke pieces, we’re able to capture the essence of these ‘differences’ and help their history live on...and on.

In a ‘been there, done that, what’s new?’ environment, ‘experiences’ are in demand. So today, when people head to a restaurant or bar, they often want more than somewhere to simply eat and drink. They’re looking for a memorable event. Something creative, innovative, involving. And that’s where we come in.

Controversial? We don’t think so. We live in an age where we seek out different ways to do things. Where it’s fashionable to disrupt modern methodology. Where ‘ground-breaking’ is the order of the day. Where we hark back to a more revolutionary time and find ourselves standing on the shoulders of giants. This is what inspires a freedom of thought that leads to the new, the unpredictable and the future.
